So instead of Norman or Harry turning into some sort of colorful flying goblin this time around, it seems like Harry may be our Venom. The tease we were shown in the end credits of Spider-Man was that Norman Osborn appeared to be trying to use the symbiote to save his son Harry’s life. Insomniac’s Spider-Man may handle Venom differently than the comics, where most famously, the symbiote infested Eddie Brock. Venom has also been on something of a “hero kick” lately, and Sony may have a desire to keep pitching him as an anti-hero rather than an antagonist, as we’ve seen across two Venom movies now, with the second nearly here.
